Media Covering Walk2Work 2024

This year’s Walk2Work Day was supported by the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.

The Foundation’s ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ are actions to take in our day to day lives for the wellbeing of individuals, families, communities and organisations.

Living Streets Aotearoa started celebrating Walk2Work day in 2009 to celebrate people walking to their everyday activities.

We encourage people to get out there, leave the car behind and walk to work, or use public transport for part of their journey and walk the rest of the way.
